What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a long term inflammatory skin conditions  that can affect male and females of all ages. It causes reddened skin and a rash mainly on the cheeks and nose. Certain factors causes the symptoms of Rosacea to come and go such as heat or long exposure to the sun, having emotional stress, specific foods that you eat. Currently there is no cure for Rosacea; however, some treatments such as Fotona Laser Therapy can keep it under control without the need to us antibiotics for long periods of time.

Treatment for Rosacea should be done every 6 weeks. A total of 3-4 treatments should be necessary to obtain the best results. Pt may start seem some results such as decrease on inflammation after the first treatment, but final results will not be ready until weeks after the last treatment.
